Journey of Joy
I have three homes: My current home, my childhood home, and my heavenly home. This summer I took a quick trip from my current home to my childhood home. Since I wondered how often the driver would be willing to stop along the way, I packed plenty of bottled water, sandwich crackers, and coffee concoctions—shelf-stable fare that I supposed would survive the trip.

But it turned out we stopped for food frequently enough. And besides that, somebody gave us a bountiful supply of snacks for the ride back—plus a thoughtful card from which fluttered a check that more than covered the cost of both food and drink.

This life is a journey from our earthly home to our heavenly home; God gives us abundant joy along the way. But so often we worry, we fear, we fret. Yet our Father knows our every circumstance and promised to provide all that we need on this journey. And so often He bountifully meets those needs in ways we never could have guessed.
