Cheery sunflowers swayed in the late-summer breeze—a bright
bouquet that made Penny feel rich as she roamed the yard. This year she had
discovered two lilac shrubs on the hill, plus purple asters in surprising
spots.
During one walk, however, Penny found herself dwelling on
discouraging thoughts; like weeds, they threatened to choke out the joy in her
heart. But wait—could she find flowers not only in the yard, but also in her
mind? As she thanked God for good things in her life, she soon discovered a
bouquet of blessings that swayed in the late-summer breeze.

We all need to look for bouquets of blessing rather than weeds in our life. Too often we deell on the weeds, and not the beautiful flowers of blessings in our life.
